तवाग्ने होत्रं तव पोत्रमृत्वियं तव नेष्ट्रं त्वमग्निदृतायतः । तव प्रशास्त्रं त्वमध्वरीयसि ब्रह्मा चासि गृहपतिश्च नो दमे ॥

Transliteration

távāgne hótraṃ táva pótram ṛtviyáṃ táva néṣṭraṃ tvám agníd ṛtá-yataḥ | táva pra-śā́straṃ tvám adhvarīyasi brahmā́ cā́si gṛhá-patiś ca no dám e ||

Translation

Milikmu, wahai Agni, kerja Hotṛ; milikmu kerja Potṛ pada musim yang tepat (ṛtviya); milikmu pemimpin (Neṣṭṛ), dan engkau ialah Agnīdh yang menegakkan upacara dalam kebenaran. Milikmu sabda pengarahan; engkau sendiri menjadi Adhvaryu. Engkau juga Brahman, dan tuan rumah (gṛhapati) bagi kami di kediaman kami.
