नि त्वामग्ने मनुर्दधे ज्योतिर्जनाय शश्वते । दीदेथ कण्व ऋतजात उक्षितो यं नमस्यन्ति कृष्टयः ॥
Transliteration
ní tvām agne mánuḥ dadhé jyótir jánāya śáśvate | dī́detha kaṇva ṛtá-jāta ukṣitó yáṃ namasyánti kŕ̥ṣṭayaḥ ||
Translation
Manu menempatkan engkau, wahai Agni, sebagai cahaya bagi manusia untuk selama-lamanya. Engkau menyala gemilang, wahai Kaṇva, lahir daripada Ṛta dan diperkasakan—yang ditunduki dalam sembah oleh komuniti manusia.
