Sukta 1.117
युवं श्यावाय रुशतीमदत्तं महः क्षोणस्याश्विना कण्वाय । प्रवाच्यं तद्वृषणा कृतं वां यन्नार्षदाय श्रवो अध्यधत्तम् ॥
yuváṃ śyā́vāya rúśatīm adattam maháḥ kṣóṇasyā aśvinā káṇvāya | prá-vācyaṃ tád vṛṣaṇā kṛtáṃ vāṃ yán nārṣadā́ya śrávo adhyádhattam ||
Kamu berdua menganugerahkan yang bercahaya kepada Śyāva, wahai Aśvin, demi Kṣoṇa yang agung, bagi Kaṇva. Layak diisytiharkan perbuatanmu itu, wahai yang perkasa—tatkala kamu menaruh śravas (kemasyhuran suci) pada Nārṣadā, menegakkan pendengaran jiwa pada yang benar.
