सुषुप्वांसं न निॠतेरुपस्थे सूर्यं न दस्रा तमसि क्षियन्तम् । शुभे रुक्मं न दर्शतं निखातमुदूपथुरश्विना वन्दनाय ॥

Transliteration

suṣupvā́ṃsaṃ ná nírṛter upásthe sū́ryaṃ ná dasrā támasi kṣiyántam | śubhé rukmáṃ ná darśatáṃ níkhātam úd ūpathur aśvinā vandánāya ||

Translation

Seperti seorang yang terlena tidur di pangkuan Nirṛti, seperti Sūrya yang bersemayam dalam kegelapan, seperti perhiasan gemilang yang tertanam daripada pandangan—kamu berdua, wahai Aśvin yang ajaib, telah mengangkat Vandana, membawanya keluar kembali ke cahaya wujud.
