इन्द्रजित्–लक्ष्मणयोर् घोरः शरयुद्धः
Indrajit and Lakshmana’s Fierce Exchange of Arrows
ततस्सन्धायसौमित्रिश्शरानग्निशिखोपमान् ।मुमोचनिशितांस्तस्मिन् सर्पानिवमहाविषान् ।।6.89.5।।
tataḥ sandhāya saumitriḥ śarān agniśikhopamān | mumoca niśitāṁs tasmin sarpān iva mahāviṣān || 6.89.5 ||
Kemudian Saumitri (Lakṣmaṇa), setelah memasang anak panah laksana lidah api pada busurnya, melepaskannya ke arahnya—tajam dan mematikan, bagaikan ular berbisa besar.
"On the basis of the indications of the pale face of Ravana's son, it is clear that he is broken at heart. No doubt about it."
Kṣātra-dharma (warrior duty): decisive action against adharma in a just war, without hesitation when protection of righteousness demands force.
