समाप्तकर्माहि स राक्षसाधिपोभवत्यदृश्यस्समरेसुरासुरैः ।युयुत्सतातेनसमाप्तकर्मणाभवेत्सुराणामपिसंशयोमहान् ।।।।

samāptakarmā hi sa rākṣasādhipo bhavaty adṛśyaḥ samare surāsuraiḥ |

yuyutsatā tena samāptakarmaṇā bhavet surāṇām api saṃśayo mahān ||

Kerana sebaik sahaja raja raksasa itu menyempurnakan ritualnya, dia menjadi tidak kelihatan dalam pertempuran malah kepada para dewa dan asura; dan dengan dia diperkasakan sedemikian, malah para dewa akan menghadapi keraguan besar untuk melawannya.
