तस्मिन् सम्पीड्यमानेतुभग्नद्रुमशिलातले ।न शेकुर्वानरास्स्थातुंघूर्णमानेनगोत्तमे ।।6.74.39।।

Transliteration

tasmin sampīḍyamāne tu bhagna-druma-śilā-tale | na śekur vānarāḥ sthātuṃ ghūrṇamānena got­tame ||6.74.39||

Translation

Tatkala gunung yang utama itu dihimpit hingga hancur, permukaannya berselerak dengan pokok-pokok patah dan batu-batu pecah, para vānara pun tidak mampu berdiri teguh di atasnya kerana ia berputar dan bergoncang.
