The Slaying of Atikāya
तंनिकृत्तंशरंदृष्टवाकृत्तभोगमिवोरगम् ।।।।अतिकायोभृशंक्रुद्धःपञ्चबाणान् समाददे ।
taṃ nikṛttaṃ śaraṃ dṛṣṭvā kṛttabhogam ivoragam | atikāyo bhṛśaṃ kruddhaḥ pañcabāṇān samādade ||
Melihat anak panahnya tertebas—bagaikan ular yang terputus lilitannya—Atikāya semakin menggelegak marah, lalu mengambil lima batang anak panah.
Seeing the arrow torn asunder like a serpent, Atikaya was offended and became very angry and fitted five arrows to his bow.
