Bilakah Sītā yang suci lagi berbudi—laksana puteri para dewa—akan memeluk leherku dengan rindu, lalu menitis air mata yang lahir daripada sukacita?
When will Sita, the chaste woman, who is like the daughter of Gods, cling to my neck, and indeed shed tears of joy?
Dharma as sanctity of marriage and faithful reunion: the longing is not mere emotion but devotion to a rightful bond preserved through truth.
Rāma imagines the moment of reunion after Sītā’s rescue—an embrace that transforms suffering into joy.
Śīla and steadfastness—Sītā’s chastity and Rāma’s fidelity to her as his rightful spouse.
