सीताविलापः—त्रिजटासान्त्वनं च
Sita’s Lament and Trijata’s Consolation
ममवर्णोमणिनिभोमृदून्यङ्गरुहाणिच ।प्रतिष्ठितांद्वादशभिर्मामूचुश्शुभलक्षणाम् ।।।।
mama varṇo maṇinibho mṛdūny aṅgaruhāṇi ca |
pratiṣṭhitāṃ dvādaśabhir mām ūcuḥ śubhalakṣaṇām ||
“Warna kulitku bersinar laksana permata, dan bulu halus pada tubuhku lembut. Ketika aku berdiri dengan dua belas jari (tangan dan kaki) menjejak bumi, para bijaksana berkata aku bertanda mulia dan membawa keberuntungan.”
"My complexion is like the shine of a gem. My hair on the skin is soft. When I touch the ground with my ten fingers and toes, it is said to leave auspicious marks."
