नैतत्किञ्चनरामस्यनचरामोमुमूर्षति ।।6.46.40।।नह्येनंहास्यतेलक्ष्मीद्दुर्लभायागतायुषाम् ।
naitat kiñcana rāmasya na ca rāmo mumūrṣati | na hy enaṃ hāsyate lakṣmīr durlabhā yā gatāyuṣām ||
Hal itu bukanlah sebab untuk berputus asa tentang Rama, dan Rama pun tidak ditakdirkan untuk mangkat. Kerana Sri Lakshmi—keberuntungan yang sukar diperoleh oleh mereka yang hayatnya telah susut—tidak akan meninggalkan baginda.
"Therefore, Rama has no fear of death, even a little. Whatever splendour is lost, prosperity will not leave him."
Dharma is sustained by truthful confidence: one should not surrender to panic when the righteous cause has not truly failed.
With Rāma appearing incapacitated, morale collapses; Vibhīṣaṇa counters despair by asserting that Rāma will not die and that auspicious fortune remains with him.
Faithful discernment—separating appearance from reality and restoring courage through reasoned assurance.
