शतैः शतसहस्रैश्च कोटिभिश्चायुतैरपि ।वारणाभैश्च हरिभिर्ययौ परिवृतस्तदा ।।।।
śataiḥ śatasahasraiś ca koṭibhiś cāyutair api | vāraṇābhaiś ca haribhir yayau parivṛtas tadā ||
Ketika itu Baginda mara, dikepung oleh vānara yang tidak terbilang—beratus-ratus, beratus-ratus ribu, berpuluh juta (krores) dan berpuluh ribu (ayuta)—laksana gugusan pahlawan seumpama gajah mengelilinginya.
