लङ्काद्वारव्यूहवर्णनम् / Disposition at the Gates of Lanka
ततस्तुरामोमहताबलेनप्रच्छाद्यसर्वांपृथिवींमहात्मा ।प्रहृष्टरूपोऽभिजगामलङ्कांकृत्वामतिंसोऽरिवधेमहात्मा ।।।।
tatas tu rāmo mahatā balena pracchādya sarvāṃ pṛthivīṃ mahātmā | prahṛṣṭa-rūpo ’bhijagāma laṅkāṃ kṛtvā matiṃ so ’rivadhe mahātmā ||
Sesudah itu, Rāma yang berhati agung, dengan bala tentera besar menutupi seluruh bumi, mara menuju Laṅkā; wajahnya berseri penuh keyakinan, setelah meneguhkan tekad untuk membinasakan musuh.
"Rama! Alas, they told me everything of the way evil minded Ravana's army is organized as it is. Listen to me."
Dharma here is righteous resolve in a just cause: once truth is known and duty is clear, action proceeds steadily for the protection of justice.
The host mobilizes and advances; the sarga closes with Rāma’s determined movement toward Laṅkā.
Courage with moral clarity—Rāma’s joy is not cruelty, but confidence rooted in rightful purpose and preparedness.
