दण्डनिर्घातवादिन्याश्रुत्वाभेर्यामहास्वनम् ।उवाचसरमासीतामिदंमधुरभाषिणी ।।।।

Transliteration

daṇḍanirghātavādinyā śrutvā bheryā mahāsvanam | uvāca saramā sītām idaṃ madhurabhāṣiṇī ||

Translation

Setelah mendengar deru besar gendang perang serta bunyi hentakan gada dan tongkat yang beradu, Saramā yang manis tutur katanya berkata demikian kepada Sītā.
