एषचैषामधिपतिर्मध्येतिष्ठतिवीर्यवान् ।।।।जयार्थीनित्यमादित्यमुपतिष्ठतिबुद्धिमान् ।नाम्नापृथिव्यांविख्यातोराजन् शतबलीतियः ।।।।एषैवाशंसतेलङ्कांस्वेनानीकेनमर्दितुम् ।
eṣa caiṣām adhipatir madhye tiṣṭhati vīryavān |
jayārthī nityam ādityam upatiṣṭhati buddhimān ||6.27.43||
nāmnā pṛthivyāṃ vikhyāto rājan śatabalīti yaḥ |
eṣa evāśaṃsate laṅkāṃ svenānīkena marditum ||6.27.44||
Pahlawan perkasa itu berdiri di tengah mereka sebagai ketua. Demi kemenangan, yang bijaksana itu sentiasa memuja Dewa Matahari. Wahai Raja, beliau masyhur di bumi dengan nama Śatabali, dan berikrar bersama bala tenteranya sendiri untuk menghancurkan Laṅkā.
