Transliteration

adya madbāṇanirbhagnair makaraiḥ makarānilayam | niruddhatoyaṃ saumitre plavabhṛdiḥ paśya sarvataḥ ||6.21.17||

Translation

“Wahai Saumitri, lihatlah: pada hari ini lautan—tempat kediaman para makara—makaranya dihancurkan oleh anak panahku; mereka melompat dan terapung-apung, sedang airnya bergelora dan memercik ke segala penjuru.”
