युद्धकाण्डे द्वादशः सर्गः — रावणस्य परिषद्-सम्बोधनं कुम्भकर्णस्य नीत्युपदेशश्च
Ravana’s Council Address and Kumbhakarna’s Counsel
त्वयेदंमहादारब्धंकार्यमप्रतिचिन्तितम् ।दिष्ट्यात्वांनावधीद्रामोविषमिश्रमिवामिषम् ।।6.12.34।।
tvayedaṃ mahad ārabdhaṃ kāryam apraticintitam | diṣṭyā tvāṃ nāvadhīd rāmo viṣa-miśram ivāmiṣam || 6.12.34 ||
Kamu telah memulakan perbuatan besar ini tanpa pertimbangan. Nasib baik Rama tidak membunuh kamu, ibarat daging beracun yang membunuh pemakannya.
"O Sinless Ravana! Therefore, that which you have done is not possible for none other than me. I will kill your enemy and accomplish your goal for you."
