सीताया अग्निप्रवेशः
Sita’s Ordeal by Fire / Agni-Pariksha
प्रविशन्तीवगात्राणिस्वानिसाजनकात्मजा ।वाक्षरैस्स्सैःसशल्येवभृशमाश्रूण्यवर्तयत् ।।।।
praviśantīva gātrāṇi svāni sā janakātmajā |
vākśaraiḥ taiḥ saśalyeva bhṛśam aśrūṇy avartayat ||
Seolah-olah terluka oleh kata-kata itu yang bagai anak panah, puteri Janaka tampak menguncup ke dalam tubuhnya sendiri, lalu mencurahkan air mata dengan amat deras.
