सीतासमीपगमनम् / Sītā Brought Near to Rāma

अथसमपनुदन्मनःक्लमंसासुचिरमदृष्टमुदीक्ष्यवैप्रियस्य ।वदनमुदितचन्द्रपूर्णकान्तंविमलशशाङ्कनिभाननातदानीम् ।।।।
atha samapanudan manaḥ-klamaṃ sā suciram adṛṣṭam udīkṣya vai priyasya | vadanam udita-candra-pūrṇa-kāntaṃ vimala-śaśāṅka-nibhānanā tadānīm ||
Kemudian, tatkala dia menatap wajah kekasihnya—yang sekian lama tidak dilihat, berseri seperti bulan purnama yang baru terbit—lenyaplah keletihan hatinya; dan pada saat itu wajahnya sendiri bercahaya laksana bulan yang suci tanpa noda.
