Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
ताःपतिंसहसादृष्टवाशयानंरणपांसुषु ।निपेतुस्तस्यगात्रेषुछिन्नावनलताइव ।।।।
tāḥ patiṃ sahasā dṛṣṭvā śayānaṃ raṇapāṃsuṣu | nipetus tasya gātreṣu chinnā vanalatā iva ||
Tatkala melihat suami mereka terbaring di tengah debu medan perang, mereka serta-merta rebah menimpa anggota tubuhnya—bagaikan sulur-sulur taman yang tertebas lalu runtuh.
