Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
नैवार्थेन न कामेनविक्रमेण न चाज्ञया ।शक्यादैवगतिर्लोकेनिवर्तयितुमुद्यता ।।।।
naivārthena na kāmena vikrameṇa na cājñayā | śakyā daivagatir loke nivartayitum udyatā ||
Di dunia ini, perjalanan takdir yang telah digerakkan oleh ketentuan Ilahi tidak dapat dipalingkan—bukan dengan harta, bukan dengan nafsu keinginan, bukan dengan keberanian, bahkan bukan dengan titah raja.
"In the world, to change the divine course of action, it is not possible with wealth, or will or by prowess or king's orders."
Power and authority have limits; dharma calls for restraint early, because once consequences mature, they cannot be undone by force or command.
