Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
रावणंनिहतंदृष्टवाराघवेणमहात्मना ।अन्तःपुराद्विनिष्पेतूराक्षस्यश्शोककर्शिताः ।।।।
rāvaṇaṃ nihataṃ dṛṣṭvā rāghaveṇa mahātmanā | antaḥpurād viniṣpetū rākṣasyaḥ śokakarśitāḥ ||
Melihat Rāvaṇa ditewaskan oleh Rāghava yang berhati agung, para wanita Rākṣasī—luluh oleh dukacita—bergegas menerpa keluar dari kamar-kamar dalam istana.
On seeing Ravana killed by the great soul Raghava, the Rakshasas from the gynaeceum stricken with grief rushed out.
