रामरावणयोर्युद्धवैषम्यं तथा रावणशिरश्छेदनम्

चकम्पेमेदिनीकृत्स्नासशैलवनकानना ।भास्करोनिष्प्रभश्चासीन्नवनौचापिमारुतः ।।।।

cakampe medinī kṛtsnā saśaila-vanakānanā |

bhāskaro niṣprabhaś cāsīn na vavau cāpi mārutaḥ ||

Maka seluruh bumi pun bergegar—beserta gunung-ganang, rimba dan belukar; sang Surya seakan hilang sinarnya, dan bahkan angin pun tidak bertiup.
