नखदंष्ट्रायुधान् वीरान् सिंहशार्दूलविक्रमान्।वानरान्वारणोन्द्राभान् क्षिप्रं द्रक्षसि सङ्गतान्।।5.68.26।।शैलाम्बुदनिकाशानां लङ्कामलयसानुषु।नर्दतां कपिमुख्यानामचिराच्छ्रोष्यसि स्वनम्।।5.68.27।।
śailāmbudanikāśānāṁ laṅkāmalayasānuṣu |
nardatāṁ kapimukhyānām acirāc chroṣyasi svanam ||
Tidak lama lagi engkau akan mendengar deruman para pemimpin kera yang utama—bagaikan awan hujan di atas gunung—bergema di lereng Banjaran Malaya di Laṅkā.
'I am an unfortunate one, afflicted by sorrow and tormented (by demons). If I am notable to see you I will be lamenting in grief.
