सुन्दरकाण्डे अष्टपञ्चाशः सर्गः
हनुमद्वृत्तान्तकथनम्, सीताभिज्ञान-प्रदानम्, लङ्कादाह-वर्णनम्
कस्त्वं केन कथं चेह प्राप्तो वानरपुङ्गवः।।।।का च रामेण ते प्रीतिस्तन्मे शंसितुमर्हसि।
kastvaṃ kena kathaṃ ceha prāpto vānarapuṅgavaḥ | kā ca rāmeṇa te prītis tan me śaṃsitum arhasi ||
“Siapakah engkau, wahai yang terbaik di antara Vānara? Atas sebab apa dan dengan cara bagaimana engkau tiba di sini? Dan apakah ikatan persahabatanmu dengan Rāma? Nyatakanlah kepadaku dengan jelas.”
