Wajahnya yang elok—mata yang luas, bening putih dengan semburat merah di hujungnya—bersinar pada sang bermata besar itu, bagaikan bulan yang terlepas daripada Rahu.
Her face with large eyes with a tinge of red corners shone like the Moon released from Rahu.
The verse poetically shows how truth and righteous hope dispel the ‘eclipse’ of despair—dharma is depicted as illumination that restores clarity and dignity.
Sita’s appearance transforms as her grief lifts; the narrator uses a lunar-eclipse simile to mark this emotional and narrative turning point.
Inner purity and steadfastness: Sita’s radiance returns when reassurance rooted in truth reaches her.
