अशोकवनिकायां सीतादर्शनम्
Sita Seen in the Ashoka Grove
स देशः प्रभया तेषां प्रदीप्त इव सर्वतः।पुन्नागास्सप्तपर्णाश्च चम्पकोद्दालकास्तथा।।।।विवृद्धमूला बहवश्शोभन्ते स्म सुपुष्पिताः।
sa deśaḥ prabhayā teṣāṃ pradīpta iva sarvataḥ |
punnāgāḥ saptaparṇāś ca campakoddālakās tathā ||
vivṛddhamūlā bahavaḥ śobhante sma supuṣpitāḥ |
Tempat itu, oleh sinar pohon-pohon tersebut, tampak menyala dari segala arah; punnāga dan saptaparṇa, juga campaka serta uddālaka—banyak yang berakar dalam dan meluas—berseri-seri dalam kembang penuh.
The grove shone bright as if it were inflamed fire with beautiful trees like purnaga, saptaparna, champak and uddalaka in full bloom.
