रावणभवनपरिक्रमणं हनूमतः शोकविचारश्च

इदं महर्षिभिर्दृष्टं निर्याणमिति मे मतिः।।।।सम्यगापः प्रवेक्ष्यामि न चेत्पश्यामि जानकीम्।
idaṃ maharṣibhir dṛṣṭaṃ niryāṇam iti me matiḥ |
samyag āpaḥ pravekṣyāmi na cet paśyāmi jānakīm ||
Pada hematku, inilah jalan meninggalkan nyawa yang telah dilihat oleh para maharishi. Aku akan masuk ke dalam air dan menamatkan diriku, jika aku tidak dapat melihat Jānakī.
"I shall enter water and drown myself to death if I am not able to find Janaki. I think this way of ending life has been suggested by great ascetics.
