समुद्रलङ्घनारम्भः
Commencement of the Ocean-Crossing
अथोर्ध्वं दूरमुत्प्लुत्य हित्वा शैलमहार्णवौ।पितुः पन्थानमास्थाय जगाम विमलेऽम्बरे।।।।
athordhvaṃ dūram utplutya hitvā śaila-mahārṇavau | pituḥ panthānam āsthāya jagāma vimale ’mbare ||
Kemudian, melompat tinggi dan jauh ke langit yang jernih, dia meninggalkan gunung dan samudera yang agung; menempuh jalan ayahandanya, Sang Dewa Angin, lalu melaju terus.
And thereafter leaping a long distance into the clear sky, he (Hanuman) took the path of the Wind-god, his father, leaving behind the mountain and the sea.
