सम्पातिवाक्यम्

Sampāti’s Counsel and the Revelation of Laṅkā

अस्माकं विहिता वृत्तिर्निसर्गेण च दूरतः।विहिता पादमूले तु वृत्तिश्चरणयोधिनाम्।।4.58.32।।

asmākaṁ vihitā vṛttir nisargeṇa ca dūrataḥ |

vihitā pāda-mūle tu vṛttiś caraṇa-yodhinām ||

Menurut tabiat semula jadi, gerak langkah kami ditetapkan untuk menjangkau jauh. Tetapi bagi para pejuang yang bertempur dengan kaki, jangkauan mereka terbatas pada sejauh mana kaki dapat melangkah.
