एकोनपञ्चाशः सर्गः (Sarga 49)
Aṅgada Re-energizes the Southern Search Party
सुग्रीवः कोपनो राजा तीक्ष्णदण्डश्च वानरः।भेतव्यं तस्य सततं रामस्य च महात्मनः।।।।
sugrīvaḥ kopano rājā tīkṣṇadaṇḍaś ca vānaraḥ | bhetavyaṃ tasya satataṃ rāmasya ca mahātmanaḥ ||
Sugrīva, raja Vānara, cepat murka dan keras hukumannya; kita harus sentiasa ingat pertanggungjawaban kita—kepada baginda dan kepada Rāma yang berhati agung.
'Sugriva, the monkey king, is wrathful and awards severe punishment. We should ever bear in mind the (purpose of the) great self, Rama.
