Transliteration

dvīpas tasyāpare pāre śatayojanam āyataḥ |

agamyo mānuṣair dīptas taṃ mārgadhvaṃ samantataḥ ||

Translation

Di seberang sana, di tepi yang jauh, ada sebuah pulau bercahaya, memanjang seratus yojana, sukar dicapai oleh manusia. Selidikilah ia dengan teliti, carilah di segenap penjuru.
