Sugriva’s Remorse and Tara’s Lament after Vali’s Death
स्वर्गेऽपि शोकं च विवर्णतां चमया विना प्राप्प्यति वीर वाली।रम्ये नगेन्द्रस्य तटावकाशेविदेहकन्यारहितो यथा त्वम्।।
svarge 'pi śokaṃ ca vivarṇatāṃ ca mayā vinā prāpsyati vīra vālī | ramye nagendrasya taṭāvakāśe videhakanyārahito yathā tvam ||
Wahai pahlawan, Vali akan berduka dan muram di syurga tanpaku, sama seperti kamu yang tidak gembira tanpa puteri Videha di gunung ini.
'O Rama! Vali will experience sorrow and become pale bereft of me even in heaven just as you are filled with sorrow even on a delightful mountain slope bereft of princess of Videha.
