त्रिसप्ततितमः सर्गः (Sarga 73): Mithilā Vivāha
Kanyādāna and the Fourfold Marriage Rites
पतिव्रता महाभागा छायेवानुगता सदा।इत्युक्त्वा प्राक्षिपद्राजा मन्त्रपूतं जलं तदा।।।।
pativratā mahābhāgā chāyevā́nugatā sadā |
ity uktvā prākṣipad rājā mantrapūtaṃ jalaṃ tadā || 1.73.28 ||
“Dia seorang isteri pativrata, amat mulia dan berbahagia; sentiasa mengikutimu bagaikan bayang-bayang.” Setelah berkata demikian, raja pun memercikkan air yang telah disucikan oleh mantra.
