Transliteration

iyaṃ ca duhitā jyeṣṭhā tava gaṅgā bhaviṣyati | tvat-kṛtena ca nāmnā ’tha loke sthāsyati viśrutā || 1.44.5 ||

Translation

Dan puteri sulungmu ini akan menjadi Gaṅgā; mulai kini, dengan nama yang berasal daripadamu, ia akan termasyhur di dunia sebagai Bhāgīrathī.
