यज्ञरक्षणम् — Protection of Viśvāmitra’s Sacrifice at Siddhāśrama
अथ काले गते तस्मिन् षष्ठेऽहनि समागते।सौमित्रिमब्रवीद्रामो यत्तो भव समाहित:।।।।
atha kāle gate tasmin ṣaṣṭhe 'hani samāgate | saumitrim abravīd rāmo yatto bhava samāhitaḥ ||
Kemudian, apabila masa itu berlalu dan tibalah hari yang keenam, Rāma berkata kepada Saumitri (Lakṣmaṇa): “Bersiaplah; teguhlah, himpunkan minda, berjaga waspada.”
Time passed. When the sixth day arrived Rama cautioned Lakshmana to be vigilant.
Dharma is sustained mindfulness: righteous duty requires alertness, especially when the mission nears its critical moment.
On the sixth day of guarding the sacrifice, Rāma anticipates danger and instructs Lakṣmaṇa to remain prepared.
