तृतीयः सर्गः (Bālakāṇḍa 3): Vālmīki’s Yogic Verification and the Epic Synopsis
तत: पश्यति धर्मात्मा तत्सर्वं योगमास्थित: ।पुरा यत्तत्र निर्वृत्तं पाणावामलकं यथा ।।।।
tataḥ paśyati dharmātmā tat sarvaṃ yogam āsthitaḥ |
purā yat tatra nirvṛttaṃ pāṇāv āmalakaṃ yathā ||
Kemudian sang resi yang berjiwa dharma itu, teguh bersemadi dalam yoga, melihat segala yang telah berlaku dahulu, sejelas buah āmalaka di atas tapak tangan.
With the power of yoga, the righteous (Valmiki) saw clearly, like an amalaka fruit in thepalm of the hand the entire course of events that happened in the past relating to Rama.
Dharma supports clarity and truthful remembrance: the past is not distorted when perceived through disciplined, righteous insight.
