janma rāmasya sumahad vīryaṃ sarvānukūlatām |

lokasya priyatāṃ kṣāntiṃ saumyatāṃ satyaśīlatām ||1.3.10||

Translation

(Nārada menceritakan) kelahiran Rāma, keberanian dan kesaktiannya yang amat besar, kebaikannya kepada semua, kasih sayang dunia kepadanya, kesabarannya, kelembutan budinya, serta wataknya yang teguh berakar pada kebenaran.
