यज्ञोपक्रमः — Commencement of the Aśvamedha Preparations

यज्ञकर्मसु ये व्यग्रा: पुरुषाश्शिल्पिनस्तथा।तेषामपि विशेषेण पूजा कार्या यथाक्रमम्।।1.13.14।।ते च स्युस्सम्भृतास्सर्वे वसुभिर्भोजनेन च।

yajñakarmasu ye vyagrāḥ puruṣāḥ śilpinas tathā | teṣām api viśeṣeṇa pūjā kāryā yathākramam || 1.13.14 || te ca syuḥ sambhṛtāḥ sarve vasubhir bhojanena ca |

Orang-orang yang giat dalam pekerjaan-pekerjaan yajña—terutama para tukang dan pengrajin—hendaklah dihormati secara khusus, masing-masing menurut tugasnya; dan semuanya hendaklah dipuaskan dengan upah serta jamuan makanan.
