The Severing of Kabandha’s Arms and the Opening of Dialogue
स पपात महाबाहुश्छिन्नबाहुर्महास्वनः।खं च गां च दिशश्चैव नादयञ्जलदो यथा।।।।
sa papāta mahābāhuś chinnabāhur mahāsvanaḥ | khaṃ ca gāṃ ca diśaś caiva nādayañ jalado yathā || 3.70.10 ||
Lalu dia pun rebah—si perkasa berlengan gagah namun kedua-duanya telah tertebas—mengaum dahsyat; bagaikan awan hujan yang menggelegar, suaranya menggema ke langit, bumi, dan segenap penjuru.
