Transliteration

kadalīgṛhakaṃ gatvā karṇikārān itas tataḥ |

samāśrayan mandagatiḥ sītāsandarśanaṃ tathā || 3.42.23 ||

Translation

Masuk ke rimbunan pisang, lalu beralih ke sana sini menuju pohon karnikāra, ia berjalan perlahan, semata-mata agar Sītā menaruh perhatian dan memandangnya.
