अरण्यकाण्डे एकोनत्रिंशः सर्गः
Sarga 29: Rama’s Admonition to Khara and the Shattering of the Mace
अद्य हि त्वां मया मुक्ताश्शराः काञ्चनभूषणाः।विदार्यातिपतिष्यन्ति वल्मीकमिव पन्नगाः।।।।
adya hi tvāṃ mayā muktāḥ śarāḥ kāñcana-bhūṣaṇāḥ |
vidāryātipatiṣyanti valmīkam iva pannagāḥ ||
Pada hari ini juga, anak panah yang kulepaskan—berhias emas—akan menembusi tubuhmu dan menerobos keluar, bagaikan ular-ular menerjah keluar dari busut anai-anai.
O night-ranger ! I have come with the orders of the king to put an end to the lives of the perpetrators of dreadful, sinful and offensive deeds in this world.
