Transliteration

nikṛttakarṇanāsā tu visvaraṃ sā vinadya ca |

yathāgataṃ pradudrāva ghorā śūrpaṇakhā vanam ||

Translation

Dengan telinga dan hidung yang terpotong, Shurpanakha yang menakutkan itu menjerit dengan suara parau dan lari semula ke dalam hutan mengikut jalan dia datang.
