Transliteration

mayā caitad vacaḥ śrutvā kārtsnyena paripālanam |

ṛṣīṇāṁ daṇḍakāraṇye saṁśrutaṁ janakātmaje ||

Translation

Wahai puteri Janaka, setelah aku mendengar sepenuhnya kata-kata mereka, aku telah berikrar untuk melindungi para resi di Hutan Dandaka dengan sempurna dan menyeluruh.
