कीर्तितस्तु समासेन मुनिवर्यास्तपोधनाः । तैजसानींद्रियाण्याहुर्देवा वैकारिका दश

kīrtitastu samāsena munivaryāstapodhanāḥ | taijasānīṃdriyāṇyāhurdevā vaikārikā daśa

Demikianlah secara ringkas, wahai para muni utama yang kaya dengan tapa, dikatakan bahawa sepuluh dewa yang lahir daripada prinsip vaikārika (sāttvika) ialah para dewa penguasa bagi indria yang bersifat taijasa.
