Genealogy of the Ancestors (Pitṛs) and the Procedure of Śrāddha

शूद्रोप्यमंत्रकं कुर्यादनेन विधिना नृप । तृतीयमाभ्युदयिकं वृद्धिश्राद्धं विधीयते

śūdropyamaṃtrakaṃ kuryādanena vidhinā nṛpa | tṛtīyamābhyudayikaṃ vṛddhiśrāddhaṃ vidhīyate

Wahai raja, bahkan seorang Śūdra pun boleh melaksanakannya tanpa mantra, menurut tatacara ini. Jenis ketiga yang ditetapkan ialah ābhyudayika—śrāddha untuk kemakmuran dan pertambahan rezeki.
