अज्ञातसमयो राजा इलः शरवणं गतः । स्त्रीत्वं जगाम सहसा बडवाश्वोऽभवत्क्षणात्

ajñātasamayo rājā ilaḥ śaravaṇaṃ gataḥ | strītvaṃ jagāma sahasā baḍavāśvo'bhavatkṣaṇāt

Tanpa mengetahui waktu dan keadaan yang terlarang, Raja Ila memasuki rimba Śaravaṇa; seketika baginda menjadi wanita, dan pada saat itu juga berubah menjadi Baḍavāśva.
