The Slaying of Vṛtrāsura

दग्धाः पेतुः पृथिव्यां च दिशस्सर्वाः प्रदुद्रुवुः । देवदानवयोर्वीराः शून्यस्तत्राभवद्रणः

dagdhāḥ petuḥ pṛthivyāṃ ca diśassarvāḥ pradudruvuḥ | devadānavayorvīrāḥ śūnyastatrābhavadraṇaḥ

Hangus terbakar, mereka rebah ke bumi, dan segala penjuru seakan lari dalam panik. Medan perang itu pun menjadi kosong, tanpa para wira dari pihak dewa mahupun asura.
