The Slaying of Bala–Nāmuci

अर्दयामास देवांश्च संयम्याग्निसमैः शरैः । तस्य बाणार्दिता देवा बहवो बलदर्पिताः

ardayāmāsa devāṃśca saṃyamyāgnisamaiḥ śaraiḥ | tasya bāṇārditā devā bahavo baladarpitāḥ

Dia menindas para dewa, menahan mereka dengan anak panah yang menyala seperti api. Ramai dewa yang bermegah dengan kekuatan pun terkena panahnya, lalu tersiksa dan terluka.
