The Glory of Dhātrī (Āmalakī) and Tulasī: Ekādaśī Observance and Protection from Preta States

देवानां पूजने रक्ता न वै प्रेता भवंति ते । श्रुत्वा पौराणिकं वाक्यं दिव्यं च धर्मसंहितम्

devānāṃ pūjane raktā na vai pretā bhavaṃti te | śrutvā paurāṇikaṃ vākyaṃ divyaṃ ca dharmasaṃhitam

Mereka yang tekun dalam pemujaan para dewa sesungguhnya tidak menjadi preta. Setelah mendengar ajaran Purāṇa—yang bersifat ilahi dan dihimpunkan sebagai rangkuman dharma—mereka terlepas daripada nasib sedemikian.
